Anaerobic digestion plant for OFMSW with upstream biosqueezing treatment.

The intervention concerned both the OFMSW reception and pre-treatment phase and the strengthening of the existing anaerobic digestion section through the construction of a second digester (supplied by AUTEP SPA).

Treatment potential equal to 15,000 t/year. Likewise, the energy recovery section of the biogas produced has been strengthened.

The digestate is then dehydrated on site and sent for valorisation at third-party centres.
